Thank you
for providing an excellent session of Synergy Through Samba for our New
Hire Sales Training in March 1999. The session was a unique experiential
activity that engaged our new sales people from U.S. and Canada to focus
on several of our Core Values and the special cross-functional working
relationship that is helping Sun Microsystems to become very successful
and one of the best places in the world to work.
Lenny Marsh
did a great job of leading our group of 25 sales and marketing people
through the thrills and challenges of playing percussion instruments as
a tight ensemble. Several participants commented that the connection between
individual and group performance through the metaphor of music was one
of the most important learnings of the event. And it was fun!
Everyone
was impressed by the professional presentation and staging of the Synergy
Through Samba event. Our participants especially liked the colorful posters
of the percussion instruments. And I appreciated how quickly we were able
to form our contractual agreement, making it easy to do business with
your firm.
We plan to
continue to include the Synergy Through Samba experiential activity in
future deliveries of the New Hire Sales Training and invite our international
colleagues to join us.
