October 31, 1997 Gary Muszynski Dear Gary: On behalf of GWSAE, I want to thank you for presenting the Opening General Session at our first-ever Association Innovate '97 Conference and Tradeshow. I appreciate the time, preparation and innovation that went into the design of your session "Synergy Through Samba: Enhancing Team Performance in Organizational Learning." We heard nothing but superb comments on the Opening. It was exactly what we were looking for in an Opening General Session - something "out of the box" to kickoff the Conference and to get the attendees working together in an innovative manner. All 200 people enjoyed learning to play the instruments and connected as a group. Some of the comments we heard were "What a perfect way to start the meeting." "Not your usual keynote speaker where you just sit and just listen." Many attendees commented on the "take-home" value as well as the interaction level within the session. Your customization and connection with the audience made the session not just fun but provided critical points in working together towards a common goal. From an educational standpoint we are very happy with the outcome of the Conference, thanks in part to your time, energy and expertise. You and your staff were very professional and easy to work with - always important while planning a conference. Again, thank you for taking the time to be with us.
