Team Jazz; a series of 3-hour programs held every 2-4 weeks; 25 people per session
Sometimes it takes a memorable experience to drive home the message that industry change and increasing competition call for even greater collaboration in the workplace. So when this leading energy company launched a two-year leadership training series for customer service employees, Team Jazz was chosen to provide a climactic close to each session.
In addition to ending the 30 five-day workshops on a high note, the program gave participants the chance to practice new concepts and skills, including teamwork and communication. Evaluations indicated that Team Jazz was the most popular part of the training, and that supervisors and team members used many of the program’s concepts in their work.
