Program: Synergy Interactive Keynote, including Synergy Through Samba workshop for 125 people, culminating in the performance before an audience of 1,500.

For this family of six major hotel chains, recognizing outstanding service is an annual event. But in 1999, the corporation wanted to take the celebration one step further — rewarding unforgettable service by treating employees to an unforgettable experience that echoed their shared values.

The program designed by One World Music stressed the role of every employee in providing unforgettable service — the key to brand loyalty — for every customer. Through a Synergy Through Samba workshop, 125 people explored teamwork through music. Then at the conference kick-off, this group performed for 1,500 hotel general managers and franchise representatives. Despite their newness to music-making, the ensemble delivered a cohesive, spirited, almost professional performance — demonstrating that an engaged group can achieve seemingly impossible results.
