The company has a history of looking outside its industry, at examples as diverse as the medical, sports, and law-enforcement fields for new models of innovation. In search for an exciting way to reward and encourage even greater creativity in its high-achieving supply chain managers, the company turned to music and the arts for inspiration.
One World Music tailored a Synergy Through Samba program to spark the kind of breakthrough thinking that leads to greater achievement in the workplace. By providing a musical experience that rewarded curiosity and noncritical experimentation, the program taught participants to find and nurture that creative spark on the job — helping them generate and share new ideas.
